Dir. Joel Coen, US, 2008, 96 mins.
Cast. George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Tilda Swinton.

After nearly a quarter of a century making movies, Joel and Ethan Coen have created a screwball comedy that couldn’t be a bigger contrast to their last film, No Country for Old Men. Boasting a cast made up of the most bankable Hollywood stars, Burn is the story of fools chasing money, backstabbing each other and being very foolish indeed. When CIA operative Osborne Cox (Malkovich) is fired, he decides to publish his memoirs as revenge but accidentally leaves a copy of his book at the gym; fitness instructors Chad Feldheimer (Pitt) and Linda Litzke (McDormand) decide to blackmail him.
