Love her or loathe her, you can’t help but be intrigued by the concept of the world’s greatest actress having a go at Maggie Thatcher, Milk Snatcher! Streep is splendid, giving a performance that evokes Thatcher’s spirit and the film is far from the hatchet-job everyone was expecting and is an attempt at an even-handed account of her life before, during and after the years in power. Well worth a look.
