Plymouth City Market

Performance Market supports emerging artists from Devon and Cornwall to create new performance work in a supportive environment, alongside a programme of international artists. Performances are taking place at Plymouth City Market, Frankfort Gate, amongst the shoppers and traders. Selected by Marina Abramović, artists Ania Bas, Alexandria Felicitas & Lina Hermsdorf, I Lien Ho, Mark Leahy, Nicky Thompson, Bill Wroath, Paul Carter and Alexandra Zierle were invited to respond to the market’s activities and its context as a historic focal point.
