A durational weekend event to determine the future of Marina Abramović's new institution. A curatorial collaboration with Marina Abramović Institute for Preservation of Performance Art. Six new durational performance works presented in Plymouth at The Slaughterhouse, Royal William Yard.

Speakers: Marina Abramović, artists from the performances, Ron Athey, Maria Balshaw, Paul Clarke, Helen Cole, Geoff Cox, Adrian Heathfield, Tehching Hsieh, Dominic Johnson, Nick Kaye, Lois Keidan, Alastair MacLennan, Lee Miller, Andrew Mitchelson, Roberta Mock, Hayley Newman, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Paula Orrell, Kira O’Reilly, Helen Pritchard, Jovana Stokić, André Stitt and Lois Weaver.

The Pigs of Today are the Hams of Tomorrow is a Plymouth Arts Centre project, curated in collaboration with the Marina Abramović Institute for
Preservation of Performance Art. F
unded and partnered by Arts Council England, Plymouth City Council, University of Plymouth, Henry Moore Foundation, Anti-Bodies, FRAME, Manchester International Festival, Arnolfini, Urban Splash, University College Falmouth (incorporating Dartington College of Art) and Prestel. Anti-Bodies is coordinated by Relational with support from Arts Council England and has been granted the Inspire mark as part of the Cultural Olympiad. The Live Art Laboratory Symposium has been developed with Lee Miller and Roberta Mock, Faculty of Arts, University of Plymouth.
